Ted Crosfield - The Shop

In September of 2004 I broke ground to begin the construction of a new shop. This was the realization of a dream I've had since I bought my lathe ten years ago and began turning wood in my basement shop with its seven foot ceiling and no natural light.

Located fifty feet (fifteen metres) from the house, my new shop has a designated turning studio and an office which has a display space and where I apply the finishing touches to my work, including the hand rubbed oil finish. There's also a main shop area, a car bay, and best of all, six skylights.
